Some bands start in garages; this one started in a guitar lesson. When Eddie signed up to learn from seasoned musician Russ Davis, neither imagined that a simple lesson would turn into something bigger. One day, a guitar session transformed into a songwriting moment, and the result was *Love Ain’t Everything* - the first step toward a special inspired collaboration.      

Rooted in the timeless sounds of Zeppelin, Allmans, Marley, Skynyrd, Waits, The Band, and The Dead, steeped in Blues Influences, sometimes with Zydeco flair, and often with a touch of '80s powerhouse bands like Foreigner and Journey, Eddie and Russ craft original music that pays homage to rock 'n' roll’s golden eras and greatest legends, while carving out and expressing their own unique and distinctive sound.      

Driven by passion, grit, and the raw energy of the music they grew up loving, Eddie and Russ are Storytellers at heart, and Performers in their souls. Peningo Riders is here to share compellingly deep and emotional glimpses into their iconic snapshots of American Life, and the irresistible characters and myriad emotions that animate, and give meaning to this great land. 

While doing so, they prove that Rock is not a relic—it’s alive and kicking.
